About Dong Nai City
Dong Nai City is Vietnam's newest centrally governed city, officially established by Resolution 30/2026/QH16 of the National Assembly on April 14, 2026. The city was formed based on the entire natural area and population of Dong Nai Province, bordering Ho Chi Minh City, Lam Dong Province, Tay Ninh Province, and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
With 33 wards and 62 communes, Dong Nai City is a major economic hub in Southern Vietnam — home to Long Thanh International Airport (Vietnam's largest, opening Q4/2026), 31+ industrial zones hosting Samsung, Nestlé, Bosch, and 500+ multinational corporations, and $1.26 billion FDI in just the first 4 months of 2026.
